On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 12th Santander lnternational Orthop Meeting,<\/strong> which will take place on February 24-25, 2028<\/strong> in Santander, Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Santander International Orthop Meeting (SIOM)<\/strong> has become an intemational educational forum dedicated to the latest advances in joint preservation, arthroscopy, arthroplasty, sports medicine and musculoskeletal imaging.<\/strong> The meeting is designed as an advanced Instructional Course Update,<\/strong> bringing together intemationally recognized experts to share state-of-the-art knowledge, surgical techniques and practica) experience across ali major joints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The 2028 edition will feature a comprehensive scientific program covering shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and foot<\/strong> & ankle surgery,<\/strong> with a strong emphasis on evidence-based medicine, complex clinical decision-making and surgical innovation.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Special attention will be devoted to emerging technologies through dedicated Mini-Symposia on Robotics<\/strong> & Artificial Intelligence<\/strong> and Osteotomy Surgery,<\/strong> addressing subjects such as robotic-assisted arthroplasty, computer-assisted surgery, navigation, patient-specific technologies, digital orthopaedics, machine learning and the future of orthopaedic innovation.<\/strong> In addition, the program will explore the rapidly evolving field of joint regenerative therapies,<\/strong> highlighting their role in joint preservation and sports medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The course has been designed for orthopaedic surgeons, musculoskeletal radiologists, sports medicine physicians, rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapists and ali healthcare professionals involved in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Beyond the scientific sessions, SIOM offers a unique opportunity to exchange ideas with an outstanding intemational faculty, discuss challenging clinical cases and discover the latest advances that are shaping the future of orthopaedic surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are currently finalizing the scientific program, which will be continuously updated on our website.
